Formula E today announced technical partner Hankook Tire as title sponsor for five races in the E-Prix of Mexico City, Rome and London in the ninth season of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship.
The 2023 Hankook Mexico City E-Prix, to be held on January 14, will be the first race of the ninth season and the competitive debut of the new Gen3, the fastest, lightest, most powerful and most efficient electric racing car ever built. .
As a technical partner of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship from season nine onwards, Hankook Tire will showcase its new high-performance EV racing tires on the Gen3 race car, featuring materials made from 26% sustainable rubber that will be fully recycled at the end of its life. useful life.
Season 9 will conclude on July 29-30 with the Hankook London E-Prix 2023, a double race weekend taking place on the exclusive indoor and outdoor circuit of the ExCeL London event venue.
Leading up to the season finale weekend in London, the 2023 Hankook Rome E-Prix, another double race weekend, takes place on July 15-16 on the streets of the Eternal City.
