genius sports reaches a new agreement to provide NFL game broadcasts on the newly launched TSN+ platforma streaming product of the Canadian sports channel The Sports Network (TSN).
As the official information partner of the NFL, Genius Sports will enable augmented reality broadcasts during the upcoming NFL Playoffs and Super Bowl LVII.
Augmented Reality NFL broadcasts on TSN+ will give fans “an entirely new experience.” a combination of data-driven play-by-play insights, graphical overlays, visualizations and much more.
Including NFL NGS information in the live stream adds player statssuch as the number of passes completed, rushing yards, passing and receiving will be added to the match actionalong with raised paths, maps with radars and other elements on the playing field.
TSN+ broadcasts utilize Genius Sports’ extensive augmented reality toolsetwhich offers live broadcasts of leagues such as the NFL, EPL, NBA, March Madness and many more. TSN+ is a new direct-to-consumer streaming product available on TSN.ca and the TSN app from Bell Media’s Canadian sports channel TSN.
The augmented reality feeds available on TSN+ complement the live coverage of the match by TSN, CTV, CTV 2 and RDS, all of which provide nationwide match coverage in all broadcast windows of the competition. Bell Media is the NFL’s exclusive broadcast partner in Canada.
