The winter of 2021-2022 starts today and it will do that with storms in the south west of the peninsula and the Canary Islands. The situation is particularly worrying in the archipelago. Before Christmas comes a good cocktail with a Canadian storm and the humidity of the Caribbean. On the night of December 23, this storm, originating from Newfoundland, will open the door for the rest of the storms and as a result, they will come in from the west in a more general manner. It will interact with a river of moisture from the Caribbean, which will increase the amount of water that falls.
